Yes, I Can put "fibro" in Front of ANYTHING

I have been a part of fibroWORLD for a long, long time. Just after the dinosaurs, when MSN Groups was all the rage, that is when I got my start. I have not been very active the past few years for a variety of reasons, but for those of you who remember me, I am sure you are not surprised at my fibroAPPROACH©. For those of you that I am new to, “Yes, I can put “fibro” in front of ANYTHING!”
And, I am curious: What do YOU put “fibro” in front of? I hope to hear from a lot of you!

It all began when I founded fibroLIFE©. Just as its name says and demonstrates that having Fibromyalgia affects your life—all of it!
  • I fully accept the reality of it, but I refuse to let it be the determining factor of my life, thus “fibro” is in all lowercase letters.
  • I fully expect myself to make the most of my life, whatever obstacles come my way, and thus “LIFE” is in all uppercase letters.

Not only do I LIVE my fibroLIFE© this way, but my desire is to help others do the same.
In my own very REAL way, with a lot of what I at least consider humor and, I hope at least a dash of inspiration, I share my experiences, what I have learned, and new information I come across in the hopes of helping anyone else with Fibromyalgia minimize the “fibro” and maximize the “LIFE” in their own fibroLIFE©.
  • I believe that those with “fibro” are overwhelmed enough just trying to “LIVE”.
  • I strongly advocate making the “fibro” part as easy to learn about as possible in order to determine an individualized way to “LIVE” with and in spite of it as soon as possible.
  • I put “fibro” in front of EVERYTHING because, until a cure is found, “fibro” will be a part of EVERYTHING we do. But, in the meantime, I want people to realize that we still have a LIFE—and that we determine what we do, or do not do, with it, just like everyone else does.
  • I put “fibro” in front of EVERYTHING because I want everyone to see that I believe what I preach: “fibro” makes it more difficult, but it does not have to prevent us from “LIVING”.
“LIVING” means different things to different people. This goes for those of us with “fibro” as well.
  • I do not know what “LIVING” means to everyone, but I do not want to leave anything out, therefore, I put “fibro” in front of EVERYTHING.
  • I truly believe in “LIVING” my fibroLIFE©.
  • I truly believe in “LIVING” out one’s fiborLIFE© doing anything—EVERYTHING—that makes it “LIVING” to you.
So, yes, I really can—and do—put “fibro” in front of EVERYTHING!

In the past, now, and in the future, you will find me discussing and encouraging others to “LIVE” with and in spite of “fibro”.
I am revisiting some old topics and adding some new, but yes, I really can put “fibro” in front of EVERYTHING!
  • fibroLIFE©: LIVING LIFE to the fullest with and in spite of having Fibromyalgia.
  • fibroVOICES©: Those who speak to and for those with Fibromyalgia to improve the fibroLIVES© of all.
  • fibroVOICE©: The team of fibroVOICES© I hope to form as one, stronger VOICE through our unity.
  • fibroBASICS©: A series of short, concise, uncomplicated booklets covering the basics of Fibromyalgia in a way that does not add to the overwhelmed feelings those with Fibromyalgia already have. I believe that the same is needed for healthcare workers and supporting therapies as well, written at the appropriate level for each, in order to standardize the way we discuss and approach Fibromyalgia. This inclusive series would create a fibroWORLD where those with Fibromyalgia and those working with them are on the same page.
  • fibroLIFE Works©: Showcasing and promoting those who have found a way to work in spite of having Fibromyalgia whether it be a traditional job, a modification of a traditional job, their own home business, etc.
  • fibroTRAVEL©: I cannot wait to get back to discussing this topic!
  • fibroSEX©: See, not only can I put “fibro” in front of EVERYTHING, but I will as well! Yes, sex is still important and doable!
  • fibroCISE©: Exercising in spite of having Fibromyalgia and actually improving rather than regressing your fibroLIFE©.
  • fibroNUTS©: Nutritional information geared toward those with Fibromyalgia.
  • fibroCLEANING©: Until we cover that, go ahead and hire a maid! ;-)
  • fibroORGANIZATION©: Key in dealing with fibro fog.
The list is exhaustive!
I want to be clear that I never—not now and not back in “the day”—have believed that I know enough to be an expert on all of these topics and all the others yet to be added. I know some about most of them, and am happy to share that, but I fully acknowledge and depend upon other fibroVOICES© in these areas as well. This is why I want to form fibroVOICE©. I want experts in each area to lead the way in developing the fibroBASICS© in their own niche.

I hope this explains clearly how I view fibroWORLD. I hope this clearly expresses my desire to help everyone with Fibromyalgia, or affected by it through affiliation, to face, yet minimize, the “fibro” and to find new, creative, and alternative ways to embrace “LIFE”. I hope this clearly shows you my heart in the matter: I am not an arrogant upstart who thinks she knows it all and can do it all. I just know how difficult it has been to get to the point I am finally at in my own fibroLIFE©, and I want to bring together others and meet the needs I see and read about daily.

Yes, I really can—and will continue to—put “fibro” in front of ANYTHING and EVERYTHING, because I want EVERYTHING to be possible for those LIVING a fibroLIFE©.
I am curious: What do YOU put “fibro” in front of?
I truly hope to hear from a lot of you!

LIVE your fibroLIFE© to the fullest EVERY day!

Hi Vivian! Thank YOU for taking the time to comment! That makes a blogger's day girl!!! :-D You can read my the details on the ideas for fibroBASICS and fibroVOICE at my website, www.MesheaCrysup.com
You can read about fibroVOICES I have showcased there as well. Also, fibroWORKS details are there and our first fibroWORKS feature is there as well. That will be a featured post in the next few days. I've written a lot this week and my sister, Melanie, staggers putting them out. fibroBASICS and fibroVOICE are "in the works" and I hope to have booklet 1 avail by Sept at the latest. The others are topics I used to write about a few years back, and will be covering again. Some as a part of fibroBASICS, some as new headings at website, some as blog posts, some as booklets or ebooklets I do on my own. I've been away for a bit, but I'm back with a vengeance! email me at meshea@mesheacrysup.com please! We can chat a bit there! LIVE your fibroLIFE to the fullest EVERY day! Meshea
